Constructing a Profile: Business Logo/Card Design/Website Design/Logo Research

Image
Business Card And Logo Design When I first started my conceptual idea for my logo/business card design, I didn't just want to go with a box-standard normalized text bar and writing with simplistic symbols and accessories etc. I wanted to make something that was unique, bold and hyper-stylized which could stand out and separate me from the rest of the heard of photographers/videographers who where delving/tipping their toe in to the same exact work field as I am. I also wanted to make & design a logo that not only best represented me (meaning my personality, art style and characteristic flare) but also a design that would replicate my 'actual' workpieces, meaning my client photographs and additional media products that I am continually involved with. Logically my first step was to analyze and research other people's co-existing business cards and logo designs etc. This meant I could have a better grasp of what my competitors where up too and what sort of marketing ...

Employment In Industry

Research into potential careers https://uk.indeed.com/career/salaries/Photographer%20%26%20Videographer?from=whatwhere The contents and nature of the job include the expectation of being able to take a voiceover, from one of their presenters (from the WWE gaming, film, TV and comics channels) and turn it into a quote on quote 'a ten minute thing of beauty' as sated by the company itself, involving the practice of combining images and footage in tune with the words that are being spoken. Higher Education Options

Image
Status update involving UCAS  To start of with I researched into the following universities that I saw myself wanting to go potentially after my last year of my level-3 media college course. The first university that I looked into strongly was first of all, Sunderland University. They offer two variants of a course that I show interest in getting into, the 'BA (Hons) Film Production/both part time & full time' and the 'foundational degree' that offers a 4 years of study at full time rather than 3 year. I am leaning more towards the 'Foundational' version of the course as I know that one entry requirement in particular correlation with the course is maths. Already know and understand that maths is not my strong suite and never well be, which is something that I've always been striving to improve upon since the GCSEs.  The structure of the course would be taught through via lectures, demonstrations, workshops, seminars, screenings, group & induvial p...

My Inspirations

Image
My Inspirations  I have decided to organize my passions & interests from genre of film, to the directors i admire, favorite forms of videography & photography (e.g. lens, lighting set-ups and technicalities etc.) my favorite aspects of pop culture and the movies that influence me in my own media creating.  My favorite genre of film as a whole is very difficult to choose for me as i do like to diversify myself when it comes to genre preferences. My choice of film varies from time & occasion, and depending on what kind of mood and atmosphere I'm in.  I like all films genres and i think they all have a purpose, a role, a part to play within the never-endingly, gigantic umbrella known as the media industry. There are a-lot of awesome choices to pick from, but if I was going to pick my top favorites it would be... HORROR To me it just inculpates the essence, the existence, and the soul of not just cinema but the history of video/filmmaking as a whole. The fi...
